Business Transactions of Research Analysts with Investors
- Publishing research reports based on research activities.
- Providing an independent, unbiased view on securities.
- Offering unbiased recommendations while disclosing financial interests in recommended securities.
- Providing research recommendations based on publicly available information and known observations.
- Conducting an annual audit.
Services Provided to Investors
- Client Onboarding.
- Disclosure to Clients:
- Distributing research reports and recommendations without discrimination.
- Maintaining confidentiality until the research report is made public.
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
If you have any complaints or grievances:
- Approach the concerned research analyst for resolution within 30 days.
- If not resolved satisfactorily, lodge a complaint with SEBI through the SCORES portal – a centralized web-based complaint redressal system.
- SEBI takes up complaints with the relevant intermediary for timely resolution.
- Investors can track their complaint status on SCORES.

Investor Responsibilities (Do’s & Don’ts)
✅ Do’s
- Always deal with SEBI-registered Research Analysts.
- Verify that the Research Analyst has a valid SEBI registration certificate.
- Check for the SEBI registration number on the SEBI website:
List of SEBI Registered Research Analysts - Pay attention to disclosures made in research reports before investing.
- Make payments to Research Analysts only through banking channels and keep signed receipts.
- Verify research recommendations before purchasing securities or applying for a public offer.
- Ask relevant questions and clear doubts before acting on a recommendation.
- Report to SEBI if any Research Analyst offers assured or guaranteed returns.
❌ Don’ts
- Do not provide funds for investment to the Research Analyst.
- Avoid luring advertisements or market rumors.
- Do not fall for limited-period discounts, incentives, or gifts from Research Analysts.
- Never share login credentials or passwords of your trading and demat accounts with Research Analysts.
